Rabbi Litwak believes that his rabbinate extends beyond the walls of the synagogue, that what we learn on Shabbat must affect who we are the rest of the week, and that Israel plays a vital role in the future of the Jewish people.

Passionate Zionist

Israel is an integral part of his rabbinate.

Rabbi Litwak has led numerous missions to Israel, regularly speaks about Israel, and each summer spends time studying with colleagues at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem.

Interfaith Relations

Rabbi Litwak has worked to build bridges between the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities. He is a regular speaker at Black Christian churches in Miami, has traveled to Israel at the invitation of the Vatican, and participated in national interfaith dialogue efforts.
